Getting to know others
Who is in this Peer Coaching Program?
Let's Meet and Greet several of your peers face to face and online.
  1. Find someone in the room whom you do not know. Spend a little time telling about each other, name, school, role, purpose for attending, interests.
  2. In the discussion tab introduce the person you have been speaking with. You can introduce this person by first name, role in school, and one or two interests.

Parts of a discussion board
A Discussion Board is one or more Forums
A Forum is one or more Threads
A Thread is one or more Posts
A Post is a message: One or more words in a text box

There are seven things to consider when posting on an online discussion board.

Mission

The mission of the Peer Coaching Program is to implement a 21st Century professional development model to enhance standards-based instruction through engaged learning and technology integration.

Program Goals

1. Help teacher leaders to serve as peer coaches for colleagues.
2. Engage students in powerful, technology-rich learning that will prepare them for their future.
3. Foster systemic adoption of 21st Century teaching and learning.
4. Assist schools to build the capacity to meet their own professional development needs.
